Virginia Beach Vacation

Went on vacation to Virginia Beach, VA to visit my sister and her family.

 Carley's birthday was on the 3rd so we celebrated with beach time and cake!

 Can you tell which kid is from Michigan and which kid is from Virginia????

 Carley specifically asked for a blue cake with blue frosting.
 Aunt Renee made her dream come true.
 The adults steered clear of the cake though.
 Blue cake doesn't look too appetizing.

 Lots of rain came down on the 4th, but the kids still had fun
Adam, not so much

 Took the kids to the VA Beach boardwalk.

It was hot and they did not want to walk

 Dairy Queen was our oasis

And as a good parent I would never give them ice cream at 10am right?

Oh well

It perked them up a bit

Went down to check out the ocean and all of us ended up soaked

The waves were pretty big
