5 things I love about my kids

Danielle

1. She sings as loud and out of tune as possible when ever in public

2. She is starting to like old kids movies that I watched when I was a kid. She is even acting them out too. My favorite, The Little Mermaid

3. She chatters all day long about every thing and any thing

4. She now will spontaneously come and give me a kiss on the cheek or rub my arm and say "Oh Mommy" ever so sweetly

5. At bedtime she says the same thing just before I close the door."You sleep good now okay".

Carley

1. She gets her legs kicking as fast as she can whenever Danielle is around

2. Every once and a while she will laugh out loud

3. She holds one of my fingers every time I feed her a bottle

4. She falls asleep with her face in my hand when I burp her. She will smile and kind of chuckle at this time too

5. She lights up with a great big smile when you go to get her in the morning, like you are just the person she wanted to see

I was asked the other day if I ever wanted more kids and my answer was, probably so that I could give Justin a boy hopefully. And my friend replied "Does it really matter if they are a boy or a girl, what's the difference?" I didn't have an answer for her at the time, but the other day I was thinking as Danielle was singing one of her Disney ballads that I can relive my childhood memories through the girls by the things they do and watch and so on, but Justin can't really. Danielle isn't playing with GI Joes or watching Thundercats. So I guess my answer to my friend would be, I don't want Justin too miss out on all the special moments that I am having right now and will have in the future. Some times it is fun to look back and remember how it felt to want to be a mermaid or how pretty you felt when you dressed up and put on make up for the first time. So I guess even with the hard pregnancies, the early births, and the colic we will probably at some point decide to try again and I hopefully I will be able to give Justin those special moments too.
